That’s different
because it’s a Toyota engine. They could’ve let Toyota do the engineering on it, and they could’ve developed a good I6 to use. The changes needed to bring a BMW engine to typical T
oyota standards would end up almost being a ground-up design, anyway.
Toyota is degrading themselves by selling inferior cars under their name.
